Choosing a lithium charger
Lithium batteries need a charger with a lithium charge profile. A lead-acid charger can overcharge or damage a lithium battery, and many brands void the warranty if you use one. Match the charger to the battery's voltage, and to the brand where the maker requires it (Bedrock and Allied each sell chargers matched to their batteries). Golf cart chargers also need the right plug or charging harness for your cart's receptacle. For powersports, mower and trolling motor batteries, use a 12V or 24V lithium charger such as Dakota Lithium's. See the golf cart battery charger guide.
