About Bedrock Battery

Bedrock Battery is a U.S.-owned lithium golf cart battery company based in Peachtree City, Georgia. It builds one thing: complete lead-acid-to-lithium conversion kits that a cart owner can install in an afternoon. Bedrock designs its kits for the DIY installer, so each one comes with the bracket and hardware for a specific cart instead of a bag of universal parts.

Bedrock Battery product lines

Bedrock's range is short and easy to follow. There are six battery sizes: 36V 105Ah, 48V 65Ah, 48V 105Ah Compact, 48V 105Ah Slim, 48V 150Ah and 72V 105Ah. The two 48V 105Ah packs hold the same energy (5.38 kWh) but come in different shapes so they fit different battery compartments. Each battery is sold as a cart-specific conversion kit (Club Car DS and Precedent, EZGO TXT and RXV, Yamaha G-Series, Drive and Drive2, ICON, Advanced EV and Star EV), as a universal kit, or as an individual battery. Bedrock also sells matching 36V, 48V and 72V chargers, 12V converters, meters, brackets and cables.

Every Bedrock kit includes the battery, a waterproof 15A lithium charger, an AC charge port with a cart-specific or universal adaptor, a round state-of-charge meter, the bracket, ring terminals and install bolts. A 12V converter is not included; Bedrock lists one as required for most carts.

Warranty

Bedrock conversion kits carry a 10-year transferable warranty, so the coverage stays with the cart if you sell it. Ask us for the terms on individual batteries, chargers and parts bought on their own.

Choosing golf cart batteries

  • Match your cart's voltage: six 6V batteries = 36V; eight 6V, six 8V or four 12V batteries = 48V.
  • More amp-hours (Ah) means more range. Lifted carts, 4- and 6-seaters and hilly routes need more.
  • Lithium needs a lithium charger. Most conversions also need a 12V converter for lights and accessories.
