Flooded (wet) lead-acid deep-cycle golf cart batteries in 6V, 8V and 12V. Flooded batteries are usually the lowest upfront cost for a lead-acid pack, but they need regular care: charge after every use, top off the cells with distilled water after charging, keep the terminals clean and tight, and avoid letting them drop below 50% charge.

Choosing Flooded Golf Cart Batteries

  • Match your cart's voltage: six 6V batteries = 36V; eight 6V, six 8V or four 12V batteries = 48V.
  • Match the group size (GC2, GC8 or GC12) and terminal type of your current batteries, and replace the whole set at once.
  • Flooded batteries need topping off with distilled water after charging. Sealed AGM batteries don't need watering. Check that your charger supports the type you choose.
