Universal lithium conversion kits

Universal kits use a standard bracket and generic ring terminals and hardware, for carts that don't have a cart-specific kit (Kandi, Coleman and other brands) or for custom builds. Measure your battery compartment and compare it with the battery dimensions on the product page before you order, or ask us to check it.

Before you order: check your cart's voltage (count the batteries and multiply by the voltage on each), the model year where it matters, and the battery tray. Use the Fitment Guide to filter every kit we sell by make, model and voltage, or send us your cart details and we'll confirm the fit.

Choosing Universal Lithium Conversion Kits

  • Match your cart's voltage: six 6V batteries = 36V; eight 6V, six 8V or four 12V batteries = 48V.
  • More amp-hours (Ah) means more range. Lifted carts, 4- and 6-seaters and hilly routes need more.
  • Lithium needs a lithium charger. Most conversions also need a 12V converter for lights and accessories.
