12V golf cart batteries

Four 12-volt GC12 batteries make a 48V pack. Fewer batteries means fewer connections, but each 12V battery is heavy. Replace all four together and match the terminal type.

Choosing 12V Golf Cart Batteries

  • Match your cart's voltage: six 6V batteries = 36V; eight 6V, six 8V or four 12V batteries = 48V.
  • Match the group size (GC2, GC8 or GC12) and terminal type of your current batteries, and replace the whole set at once.
  • Flooded batteries need topping off with distilled water after charging. Sealed AGM batteries don't need watering. Check that your charger supports the type you choose.
