Lithium for boats and RVs
Deep-cycle LiFePO4 batteries are a popular upgrade for trolling motors, house banks and RVs because they are much lighter than lead-acid, can use far more of their rated capacity and hold voltage steady until they are nearly empty. Choose the system voltage first (12V, 24V or 36V for a trolling motor), then the amp-hours for the run time you need. Larger setups can use one 24V or 36V battery or several 12V batteries wired in series; see our trolling motor battery guide.
