Description
Switch a Yamaha Drive & Drive2 (2011+) from its lead-acid set to one ECO Battery 70.4V 105Ah LiFePO4 battery from the GEN3 line. It is sold as a complete kit for this cart, lithium charger included; the parts list below shows exactly what is in the box.
Key numbers: 7.3 kWh of stored energy, a battery weight of 146 lbs, 250A continuous discharge.
72V system: this pack is for a cart that already runs a 72V-class system, either from the factory or after a motor and controller upgrade rated for it. A stock 36V or 48V cart needs that drivetrain upgrade first; ask us if you’re not sure.
Standard or Heated: pick Heated for ECO’s self-heating version of the same battery. It warms the cells before charging in freezing weather, so you don’t need pads, switches or timers. Heated adds $151.

Good to know
- Charge only with the lithium charger supplied with the kit or one the maker approves; a lead-acid charger can damage a lithium battery.
- Running lights, a radio or USB ports? Most conversions need a 12V converter; check the parts list above and see accessories.
- LiFePO4 should not be charged below freezing unless the battery is heated or has low-temperature protection.
