Hemet sits in the San Jacinto Valley, in Riverside County, with the San Jacinto Mountains on the east side. Seven Hills is the long-running golf community. The course has been there since 1972, and the 55-and-over neighborhoods around it are where a cart is a daily vehicle. That is not a citywide cart grid. This page is about shipping a battery to Hemet. It is not a store, and it does not assign a driver.
Not Sun City, not Palm Springs
Sun City is inside Menifee, west of Diamond Valley Lake. Palm Springs is the low desert on the far side of the mountains. Hemet gets the valley heat, and it can frost on a winter night, which Palm Springs pages do not prepare you for. Valle Vista is the neighborhood east of town, toward the mountain. It is not a separate cart city.
Valley heat, mountain nights
A July afternoon in a closed garage is the charging problem. A January night is the storage problem. A lead-acid set left half charged through a cold snap sulfates. A lithium pack should not be charged below freezing. The grade toward the mountain is enough to show up a pack that felt fine on a flat street in the valley.
The year still picks the kit. A 2006 Club Car Precedent and a 2012 Precedent are different kits. A Yamaha Drive from 2007-2010 is not a Drive2. An EZGO TXT, a metal-tray RXV, a plastic-tray RXV, and an ELiTE are four orders. Six 6-volt batteries are 36 volts. Six 8-volt batteries, eight 6-volt batteries, or four 12-volt deep-cycle batteries are 48 volts. A lithium label that says 48 volts, 51.2 volts, or 72 volts means you stay in that class.
If the cart sits through a freeze, read charging a lithium battery in cold weather. Do not charge a lithium pack below freezing. A lead-acid set left half charged will sulfate by spring.

Each flooded or AGM battery adds an $18 core charge, times the number of batteries in the set, including on a local delivery. Lithium batteries, chargers, and parts do not have a core.
