Canyon Lake, Texas, is the reservoir on the Guadalupe in Comal County, upstream from New Braunfels. The communities around it include Canyon Lake, Startzville, Sattler, and Crane’s Mill. Much of that address is outside a city limit. Carts live in the lake neighborhoods and at the marinas. They are not a way down the highway to New Braunfels. This page is a shipping note. Not the California gate
Canyon Lake, California is a gated city in Riverside County. This page is Hill Country limestone and a flood-control lake. New Braunfels is downstream. San Antonio is the city people fly into. The grades are the battery fact. A pack that finishes 18 holes on a flat course can come up short on the climb back from the water, with a full cart.
Weekends, and houses that sit
Summer weekends are the duty cycle: short trips, heat, and a cart that may not see a full charge until Sunday night. A second home that sits empty through the winter still needs a plan. Store a lead-acid set full. Do not leave a lithium pack on a lead-acid charger while the house is closed. Hill Country nights in winter can freeze.
The year still picks the kit. A 2006 Club Car Precedent and a 2012 Precedent are different kits. A Yamaha Drive from 2007-2010 is not a Drive2. An EZGO TXT, a metal-tray RXV, a plastic-tray RXV, and an ELiTE are four orders. Six 6-volt batteries are 36 volts. Six 8-volt batteries, eight 6-volt batteries, or four 12-volt deep-cycle batteries are 48 volts. A lithium label that says 48 volts, 51.2 volts, or 72 volts means you stay in that class.
If the cart sits through a freeze, read charging a lithium battery in cold weather. Do not charge a lithium pack below freezing. A lead-acid set left half charged will sulfate by spring.
