Lakewood Ranch is a master-planned community east of I-75, split across Manatee County and Sarasota County, between Bradenton and Sarasota. It is a set of villages, not one 55-and-over town. Some villages sit on a golf course. Others do not. A cart that is normal on one village street can be the wrong vehicle on the next public road, and the two counties do not share one map. This page is about shipping a battery here. It is not a store, and it does not assign a driver.
Which village, and which Summerfield
Del Webb has a 55-and-over neighborhood inside Lakewood Ranch. That neighborhood is not the whole community, and it is not Sun City. The country-club streets are not Greenbrook, and they are not the Summerfield village on the Manatee side. That Summerfield is a Lakewood Ranch village. Summerfield next to The Villages is a different town, up in Marion County.
Lakewood Ranch is also not Bradenton and not Sarasota, even though both are the cities people name when they give directions. Those pages are the same kind of shipping note. None of them is a shop.
Flat ground, two kinds of weather
The ground is flat Florida. The battery climate is humidity and afternoon storms. The eastern villages are inland of the Gulf beaches, so the salt is milder than on a barrier island and the lugs still corrode in a humid garage. Houses sit empty when owners leave for the summer. Store a flooded set full, on a maintainer if the charger has one. Do not leave a lithium pack on a lead-acid charger for the month they are gone, and do not charge a heat-soaked lithium pack in a closed garage in the middle of the afternoon.
The year still picks the kit. A 2006 Club Car Precedent and a 2012 Precedent are different kits. A Yamaha Drive from 2007-2010 is not a Drive2. An EZGO TXT, a metal-tray RXV, a plastic-tray RXV, and an ELiTE are four orders. Six 6-volt batteries are 36 volts. Six 8-volt batteries, eight 6-volt batteries, or four 12-volt deep-cycle batteries are 48 volts. A lithium label that says 48 volts, 51.2 volts, or 72 volts means you stay in that class.

We ship a lithium kit or a lead-acid set to Lakewood Ranch. Local delivery is only the area named on the shipping page. This page does not assign a driver, and it is not a street address.
Bedrock conversion kits ship free. Allied Lithium packages ship free from Allied. Those two sentences do not cover every brand. Each flooded or AGM battery adds an $18 core charge, times the number of batteries in the set, including on a local delivery. Lithium batteries, chargers, and parts do not have a core. Use the fitment guide, then the 48-volt lithium batteries or the lead-acid batteries once the year and the voltage are known.
