Mount Dora is a Lake County city on Lake Dora, in the Golden Triangle with Tavares and Eustis. The name is the hill. Downtown sits above the lake, which is unusual in Florida, and a pack that feels fine on a flat path can sag on the grade into town. The city allows registered carts on designated streets. It does not allow them on every road, and US-441 is not a cart street. This page is about shipping a battery. It is not a store, and it does not assign a driver.
Not The Villages
The Villages is a path-and-square community to the northwest, across Sumter, Marion, and Lake counties. Leesburg sits between them. Mount Dora is closer to Orlando, and the downtown here is a small historic district, not a town square on a cart path. A Villages kit order and a Mount Dora kit order are the same only when the cart’s year and voltage match. The city does not make them match.
The city posts the streets. Donnelly is not a free-for-all, and a golf-cart bridge is not the same thing as driving the arterial. We sell the battery. We do not publish the map.
A Florida hill, and a Florida summer
The grade is the local difference. Amp-hours that finish a flat loop can come up short on the hill, especially with a passenger and a set of clubs. The rest of the climate is familiar: humidity, a long hot season, and afternoon storms. Water a flooded set after charging. Do not charge a heat-soaked lithium pack in a closed garage at the peak of the afternoon.
The year still picks the kit. A 2006 Club Car Precedent and a 2012 Precedent are different kits. A Yamaha Drive from 2007-2010 is not a Drive2. An EZGO TXT, a metal-tray RXV, a plastic-tray RXV, and an ELiTE are four orders. Six 6-volt batteries are 36 volts. Six 8-volt batteries, eight 6-volt batteries, or four 12-volt deep-cycle batteries are 48 volts. A lithium label that says 48 volts, 51.2 volts, or 72 volts means you stay in that class.
