Sun City Florida is Sun City Center, a 55-and-over census-designated place in Hillsborough County, south of Tampa. It was built around golf, and carts are how a lot of households get around the neighborhood. This page is not a store, and it is not a driver assigned to Hillsborough County.

People search “Sun City Florida” and land on three different communities. This page is the Florida one. Sun City, Arizona is the original Del Webb community in the west Valley, and Sun City West is the sister community next to it. Sun City Texas is in Georgetown, on Hill Country limestone, with grades this Florida community does not have. Order the page that matches the cart’s garage. A kit does not change because two towns share a name.
The Tampa side of it
Sun City Center sits south of Tampa, inland from the Gulf beaches and north of the Bradenton and Sarasota communities. The ground is flat Florida, not a desert and not the Hill Country. The battery climate is humidity, a long hot season, and afternoon storms. Flooded batteries use water through that season. Salt air is a Gulf problem on the beaches. It is milder here than on a barrier island, and lugs still corrode in a humid garage. Nearby shipping notes: Tampa, Bradenton, and Sarasota.
Carts in a 55-and-over golf community
A cart that does a morning round and a cart that does the round plus a dinner trip are different loads. Houses also sit empty when owners leave for the summer. A lead-acid pack left half charged will be sulfated when they come back. Store it full, and put it on a maintainer if the charger has one. A lithium pack does not want a lead-acid charger left plugged in for the month they are gone. Two carts in one garage are often two voltages. Label the chargers.
The year still picks the kit. Precedent 2004-2008 is not 2009 and later. Yamaha Drive 2007-2010 is not a 2011 Drive or a Drive2. EZGO TXT, metal-tray RXV, plastic-tray RXV, and ELiTE are four carts. Six 6-volt batteries are 36 volts. Six 8-volt, eight 6-volt, or four 12-volt deep-cycle batteries are 48 volts.
