Golf cart batteries in Nevada

Communities in Nevada we ship golf cart batteries to. Not a store address.

Interstate 6V GC2 deep-cycle golf cart battery

Nevada carts are desert retirement and master-planned communities. Heat, dust, a hot garage, and the occasional freezing night are the calendar. We ship. We do not have a store in the Valley.

Towns in Nevada

Each town below is a place we ship to. Open it for the local conditions. Then use the fitment guide for the cart, because a town does not pick a bracket.

Ordering into Nevada

Voltage first. Six 6-volt batteries are 36 volts. Six 8-volt, eight 6-volt, or four 12-volt deep-cycle batteries are 48 volts. A 72-volt cart stays on a 72-volt kit. Year bands second. Precedent 2004-2008 is not 2009-later. Yamaha Drive 2007-2010 is not a Drive2. EZGO RXV metal, plastic, and ELiTE are three carts. We ship into Nevada. Local delivery is only the area named on the shipping page. Nevada is not automatically inside that area because this page exists. Prices stay on the product page. Bedrock conversion kits ship free. Allied Lithium packages ship free from Allied.

Shipping, and what a city page means

We ship golf cart batteries. We do not publish a storefront street address. Bedrock conversion kits ship free. Allied Lithium packages ship free from Allied. Free shipping on any other brand is not something this article grants.

Local delivery exists only for the area named on the shipping page. A state page or a town page means that community is one we write about and ship to. It is not a claim that a driver covers that town. If the shipping page does not name your street, the order ships.

Heat, garages, and flooded water loss

A closed garage in Arizona, the Coachella Valley, or a Florida afternoon can sit far above the outside air. Flooded batteries use water faster in that heat. Check them on a schedule, after charging, with distilled water. Lithium packs and chargers also have temperature limits. Do not charge a lithium pack in a heat-soaked closed garage if the battery or the charger is too hot to touch. Let the space cool, or charge in a cooler hour.

Heat is not a voltage change. A 48-volt cart does not become a 36-volt cart because the state is hot. It does become a cart that needs its water, its ventilation, and its charger checked.

Grades show a weak pack

A cart that feels fine on a flat path and sags on a hill is telling you about voltage under load. Hills in the Texas Hill Country, north Georgia, Asheville, Hot Springs Village, and any lake community built on ridges pull more amps than a flat course. A resting voltage can look acceptable and still collapse when the motor asks for current.

The fix is not a higher voltage kit. A 72-volt pack in a 48-volt cart is the wrong pack. The fix is a healthy pack of the correct voltage, cables that are tight, and a size in amp-hours that matches the work. We do not publish a mile rating in this article. Terrain, seats, tires, and speed change the distance. The product page is where a manufacturer prints a range estimate when they have one.

Solenoids, clicks, and Curtis Albright

A click when you press the pedal means something tried to close the main contactor. It does not, by itself, mean the pack is done. If pack voltage holds under that load and the cart does not move, look at the solenoid, the key switch, the direction switch, and the safety switches. A solenoid that is welded shut can make the cart creep with the key on. A solenoid that clicks and drops out will not carry motor current.

Curtis Albright heavy-duty contactors are the upgrade when a high-amp controller and a lithium pack pull more current than the original solenoid was built for. A solenoid is a part. It does not add amp-hours. Do not buy one to cure a battery that sags from 50 volts to the 30s under load. That cart needs a pack, or a cable, not a bigger relay.

Equalizing is a flooded-battery procedure

An equalization charge is a controlled overcharge used on flooded lead-acid batteries to knock sulfate off the plates and even the cells out. You do it after the pack is full, with the caps in place, in a ventilated area, and you water after, not before. You do not equalize AGM batteries. You do not equalize a lithium pack. A lithium BMS is not asking for an equalize cycle from a lead-acid charger.

If one flooded battery is far below the others every month, equalization will not rebuild a dead cell. Replace the set. If you do not know whether your charger has an equalize mode, do not hold the button and hope. Read the charger manual for that one pack voltage.
