The Villages is a large age-restricted community in central Florida, spread across Sumter, Marion, and Lake counties. Golf carts and low-speed vehicles are a normal way to get from a house to a town square, a course, or a grocery run. This page is about shipping a battery there. It is not our store address, and it does not assign a driver.
Paths, tunnels, and the squares
The community is built around a multi-modal path network, with tunnels and bridges so a cart can miss a lot of road crossings. Spanish Springs, Lake Sumter Landing, and Brownwood are the town squares people aim at. A cart that only does nine holes and a cart that does squares, errands, and a second trip after dinner are not the same amp-hour job. We do not publish a cart count or a speed limit. Path rules and street rules depend on the road and on whether that cart is a golf cart or a registered low-speed vehicle. Read the local rule for the road you actually use. We sell the battery, not the registration.
The counties around it
Lady Lake sits on the north side. Summerfield is the south side of the same area. Ocala is the nearby city with more roll in the ground than the coastal flats. A pack that feels fine on a flat path can sag on an Ocala grade. Open Lady Lake, Summerfield, and Ocala if the cart lives on that edge, and the Florida page for the rest of the state. What the climate changes, and what it does not
Summer heat and afternoon storms are the maintenance. Water a flooded set after charging, with distilled water, and keep the charge port dry. Do not charge a heat-soaked lithium pack in a closed garage in the middle of the afternoon. Two carts in one garage are often two voltages. A 36-volt cart and a 48-volt cart do not share a charger. Label them.
None of that picks the bracket. A 2006 Club Car Precedent and a 2012 Precedent are different kits. A Yamaha Drive from 2007-2010 is not a Drive2. An EZGO TXT, a metal-tray RXV, a plastic-tray RXV, and an ELiTE are four orders. Count the batteries. Six 6-volt batteries are 36 volts. Six 8-volt batteries, eight 6-volt batteries, or four 12-volt deep-cycle batteries are 48 volts. A lithium label that says 48 volts, 51.2 volts, or 72 volts means you stay in that class.
What we will ship
We ship a lithium kit or a lead-acid set to The Villages. We do not publish a street address there. Local delivery is only the area named on the shipping page. The Villages is not inside that area just because this page exists.
Lithium golf cart kits from every brand we sell ship free to the lower 48 by curbside truck freight. Parts, chargers and small batteries ship free on orders of $150 or more, or $14.95 below that. Interstate lead-acid batteries ship on a freight quote: we call you with the price before we charge shipping. Those two sentences do not cover every brand. Each flooded or AGM battery adds an $18 core charge on a shipped order (waived on a local delivery), times the number of batteries in the set. Lithium batteries, chargers, and parts do not have a core. Prices stay on the product page.
